SPS - Single flap valve
Description: Shaft mounted valve with double casing, each with a simple clapet that closes an inclined wall of the internal hopper. Valves with a rotating chamber used to transfer a flow of fine solid material across two areas in which different pressure and/or temperatures are maintained.Our company has standardised 4 sizes with capacities of up to 20 mc/h, in structural carbon steel, available from stock. Gambarotta also makes special versions, such as shaft-mounted clapet valves with tensioning counterweight and valves in special steel.They are robustly sized valves for use in heavy industrial sectors such as the cement, lime, gypsum and premixed plasters industry, steelworks, power stations, solid urban waste disposal plans, ecological air filtration plants, chemicals and fertilisers, etc.Construction characteristics:
- Two casings in structural steel, bolted one onto the other, with square openings and inspection hatches.
- internal hoppers with closing flaps in wear-resistant steel.
- control shafts with packed gland seals, space between casing and external supports and bearings.
- outer levers connected with cylindrical flap closing spring.
- drive gear motor with rotating arm for flap opening.
- safety guard on moving external parts.
- movement control sensor.
