GD - Expansion joints

Description: Flexible joint to connect the intake/discharge points of machines or parts of the plant with possible reciprocal movement. They can be made in abrasion- and heat-resistant materials.    Construction characteristics:
  • They consist essentially of two flanged metal casings, an upper and a lower, connected by a flexible element that allows limited movement between the two metal parts.
Some standardised types with square discharge points up to 500 mm clearance for materials at temperatures of up to 150 °C. Expansion joints with square, rectangular or round discharge points for materials at temperatures up to 600 °C can be made to the specifications of the customer.
